3rd KF Korea Workshop

The third KF Korea Workshop will be in session until November 11 under the theme of “Understanding Korean Society and Culture.” One of the foremost public diplomacy projects for foreigners living in Korea, the workshop opened on October 23 building upon the success of the previous two events.
  The workshop offers lectures by prominent experts: Professor Shin Hee-kwon of the University of Seoul on Korean history; Kwon Tae-shin, President of the Korea Economic Research Institute, on the Korean economy; and Professor Jocelyn Clark of Pai Chai University on Korean music. Participants will deepen their understanding of Korean culture by taking part in the Public Diplomacy Week program for three days from November 1 and by touring the Confucian culture complex in Andong.
  Venkatesan Rajagopalan, First Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Korea, who attended a previous workshop, spoke highly of the event, saying, “As a diplomat serving in Korea, I came to understand and appreciate my host country better by taking part in the program.”
