14th Korea-Spain Forum
The 14th Korea-Spain Forum will be held from November 16 through 17 at the Four Seasons Seoul jointly by the KF, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Casa Asia. Launched in 2003, the event seeks to develop future-oriented bilateral relations through discussions among leaders from both countries on political, economic, and cultural topics of mutual interest.
More than 50 dignitaries will be attending this year’s forum for in-depth talks on topics including “The New Geopolitical Dynamics in Europe and the Asia-Pacific Region”; “Cooperation in Responding to the Global Supply-Chain Crisis”; Welfare Programs for the Persons with disabilities and the Aging Society; and “Cultural and Academic Exchange between Korea and Spain.”
The fourth session, which is on bilateral exchanges in culture and academia, is expected to host active discussions on cultural and academic cooperation, including Spanish language education in Korea promoted by Instituto Cervantes, a Spanish government agency for dissemination of the Spanish language and cultural exchange, and the Korean language and Korean studies e-school projects operated by the KF and prestigious overseas universities.
The forum will hopefully boost bilateral relations by seeking future-oriented cooperation through candid discussions.
