Suh Do Ho exhibition featured at Museum of Contemporary Arts Australia
On November 3, the Museum of Contemporary Arts Australia (MCA), which is located in Sydney, will unveil a private exhibition of artworks by Suh Do Ho. The exhibition is hosted with support from the KF.
Suh is a leading Korean artist who was featured at the Korea pavilion at the 2001 Venice Biennale and participated in the 2018 Venice Biennale of Architecture. He deals with the topics of space, migration, and identity by using an array of artistic media such as installations, visual art, and drawings.
Suh’s first solo exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere will run through March 26, 2023 and feature 37 of his works, including installations, sculptures, and photographs.
The exhibition is expected to help the Australian public to better understand and appreciate Suh’s works in addition to seeing how Korea is reflected in them, which will hopefully lead to a better understanding of the Land of the Morning Calm.
