‘Easy Access Thailand ’Program in Commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of Korea- Thailand Diplomatic Relations

 

In November, the ninth installment of the Easy Access Series, Easy Access Thailand, will commemorate the 60th anniversary of Korea-Thailand diplomatic relations, offering a colorful palette of programming. This event will commence with a special talk by Banjong Pisanthanakun, as he tells the story of his directorial box-office hit, Pee Mak (2013), which was seen by more than 10 million moviegoers. Besides the commemorative events, symposiums, graffiti art demonstrations, and cooking classes that will be available, the Thai Festival is also scheduled to take place, in cooperation with the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul.

Operating ASEAN Culture House Booth during Korea Foundation Public Diplomacy Week

 

Incommemoration of the first annual Korea Foundation Public Diplomacy Week, the ASEAN Culture House will be operating an exhibition booth at the DongdaemunDesign Plaza (DDP) in Seoul from November 1–3. Several events are in store including ASEAN dessert tasting, traditional games and VR booths, a landmark photo zone, and sand art performances; with the aim of raising attendees’ awareness ofthe necessity of public diplomacy between ASEAN and Korea while introducing ASEAN culture far and wide.
