4th Korea-Singapore Forum
The fourth Korea-Singapore Forum will be convened in Seoul on March 14, co-sponsored by the KF and the Korean Institute of Southeast Asian Studies from Korea and S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from Singapore.
Since its first meeting in Singapore in 2013, the forum has been maintained as a 1.5-track dialogue channel between the two countries through biennial meetings. It has contributed to strengthening future-oriented bilateral cooperation by facilitating exchange of opinions on major issues among prominent figures in the political, economic, cultural, and educational fields.
The upcoming meeting is expected to promote bilateral cooperation amid the rapidly changing international political situation, particularly in regard to the fast-developing peace process on the Korean Peninsula. It is also expected to produce substantial discussions on the digital economy and creation of job opportunities and possible partnerships for the construction of smart cities. The forum will be held over three sessions where a variety of the most current topics will be discussed by leading ps from diverse fields.
