Easy Access Viet Nam

The ASEAN Culture House presented Easy Access Viet Nam from December 5–8 as the final part of its Easy Access ASEAN series for 2019. On December 5, travel writer Moon Sang-gun conducted a travel workshop entitled “The More You Know, the More Fun You’ll Have in Viet Nam.” On December 7–8, children were introduced to beautiful Vietnamese cultural heritage at the Hoi An Lantern Making and Hoi An Lantern Festival Experience event.

For adults, a Vietnamese cooking class offered an opportunity to experience Vietnamese culinary culture by making banh mi sandwiches and bun bo xao beef noodle salad. Easy Access Viet Nam also provided a variety of family programs through the Viet Nam Playground and ASEAN Kids Café, where guests of all ages learned about and enjoyed the culture of Viet Nam and other ASEAN countries. Visitors played da cau, a Vietnamese form of foot badminton similar to Korean jegichagi, as well as other games and activities.
