‘2021 Sound Healing with Korea — Art and Culture’ Videos to Go
Online
“Sound Healing with Korea — Art and Culture,” a series of nonverbal
videos bringing viewers behind the scenes of Korean arts and culture,
will be released on the KF’s YouTube channel.
Following the first series, “Listen to Jeju,” released in September,
this second series presents ASMR scenes recorded at the sites of
Korean artistic and cultural activities.
The five themed episodes are vastly different from typical videos
about Korean culture, which usually focus on performances and
exhibitions, as they shed light on the behind-the-scenes production of
various kinds of cultural content, demonstrating Korea’s technological
prowess.
The videos will take viewers backstage at a concert of classical music
performed by the KBS Philharmonic Orchestra; show B-boying dance
groups practicing for the Bucheon Bboy International Championship
(BBIC); capture a preliminary contest for the 2024 Paris Olympics,
where breakdancing will debut as an Olympic sport; reveal how NCSoft
produces video game sound effects; take a deep dive into SM
Entertainment’s metaverse content; and highlight how Dexter Studios
designed the visual effects (VFX) and direct input (DI) sound for the
film Space Sweepers.
Viewers will be introduced to the dynamic Korean culture of today and
the people who , lead, and preserve it. Everyone is welcome to
enjoy the sound healing project on the KF’s YouTube channel.
