A Hope from Hahoe, top prize-winning photograph

“To My First ASEAN Friend,” top prize-winning video

On June 5, the results of the third ASEAN Culture House Photo & Video Contest were announced on the ACH Website. A total of 648 photographs and 102 videos were submitted between March 2 and April 24. The final winners were selected through online voting and a screening by expert judges.

In the photography category, the grand prize was given to A Hope from Hahoe, a photo conveying the hope felt in Hahoe Village in Andong. From the video submissions, “To My First ASEAN Friend,” a video letter to a man whom the producer met and befriended in Indonesia, won the top prize.

The award ceremony and exhibition of award-winning works are planned for September. The 77 photographs and 17 videos to be featured will also be uploaded to the Photo & Video Contest Gallery on the ACH website.
