After School Special: Thailand 

From October through December, the ASEAN Culture House offered the “After School Special: Thailand,” a program specifically designed for teenagers. The program allowed students to learn more about Thai culture and consisted of activities such as learning simple greetings or creating traditional masks. The students participated with great enthusiasm, and before long, they greeted each other with sawaddee krub (“hello” for boys) and sawaddee ka (the equivalent term for girls). As COVID-19 has made it very difficult to travel, we hope that through this program, the participating students had an opportunity to let at least their minds travel.
