▶ KF ASEAN CULTURE HOUSE YouTube
Karipap(curry puff) is one of the most famous snacks in Brunei, and is enjoyed widely throughout ASEAN. They are commonly sold in cafes, markets, and bars. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, it is also popular in countries such as Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, and Thailand.
Karipap is quite simple to make. First, stir-fry meat in a pan, add onions and potatoes, and cook for 1 minute. Next, add curry powder and pepper to complete the filling. Put the filling into a rounded and flattened piece of dough and form it into a crescent-shaped pie. Lastly, deep fry the pie until golden brown.
