KF Cultural Center Lecture Series I - ‘Silk Road: The Road of Civilizations Where East Met West’
March 6-May 22, 2008, every Thursday 7 p.m.
The KF Cultural Center is hosting a lecture series on the legendary Silk Road. Ten Korean scholars will deliver lectures on the Silk Road, which played a key role as a conduit for cultural exchange between the East and the West.

Workshop for Korean Language Educators in Central Asia
April 2-3, 2008
About 40 Korean language educators from universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan gathered together to discuss the current issues on the curriculum, textbook development for Korean language education at the university in Central Asian countries.

2008 Spring Field Trip for Korean Language Training Fellows
April 17-19, 2008
About 70 KF Korean Language Training Fellows participated in a spring field trip to Andong and Gyeongju, where they had an opportunity to view artifacts of the Silla and Joseon eras and acquire firsthand experience of traditional Korean culture.

Concert Tour of Haegeum Plus of the Eastern United States
April 24-May 3, 2008
Haegeum Plus, a cross-over music group of Korea, will stage performances in four cities of the eastern United States.
