Special Korea Exhibition to be Held at the Princessehof National Museum of Ceramics in the Netherlands

From October 16, 2021, to August 21, 2022, the Princessehof National Museum of Ceramics in the Netherlands will hold Korea Exhibition – Unravelling the Mystery of Korea, a special exhibition on Korea.

The exhibition will introduce the culture and history of Korean ceramics and include works of Goryeo Dynasty celadon, Joseon Dynasty porcelain, and pottery. In addition to items from the museum’s collection, some works have been borrowed from the National Museum of Korea and the National Museum of Ethnology in Leiden, Netherlands, to present a more comprehensive range of Korean artifacts.

Displaying not only traditional ceramics but also works by contemporary Korean artists, the exhibition will be a rare opportunity to appreciate precious Korean artworks in person and savor the aesthetics of yesterday and today in one place.
