Daegu Social Media Group Recruiting 2ed Batch Members

Daegu Metropolitan City is looking for 35 Foreigner who are willing to join the Social Media Group to promote Daegu to the international community through social networking.

Daegu Social Media Group aims to let Foreigner in Korea experience Korea in a more organized, diverse and involved way.

Through social networking on the internet (eg. Blogging, Twitter, Facebook) we are promoting cultural exchanges between them and their respective countries.

Foreigner experiencing Daegu′s diverse culture in their own unique way are welcomed to become ′Online PR Ambassadors′  



 1. Number of Members needed : Thirty-five

 2. Application Period : August1 ~ 31,2011

 3. Eligibility

      Foreigner registered in Korea.

      Active social media users on internet blogs(Indispensible), Facebook, etc.

      Interested in Daegu/Korean history and culture

      Fluent Korean-speaking students preferred

 4. Membership Term : September ~ November (3months)

 5. Responsibilities

      Attend various workshops, field trips and events hosted by Daegu City

      Subsequently, publicize about various experiences on social media
