Prof. Jean-Christophe Victor, Head of the LEPAC institute will visit Korea from November 24 to November 30 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
Prof. Jean-Christophe Victor is a prominent geographer and geopolitician of France. Through this visit the Foundation is expecting him to contribute to the promotion of a positive image of the Korean peninsula's geography and history in France, and expand the range of cooperation between the two countries.
During his stay, Prof. Victor will visit various organizations such as the Institute for Far Eastern Studies, the National Geographic Information Institute, the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute and the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses to discuss ways to improve relations. He will also get a chance to visit the DMZ and JSA, Leeum Museum of Art, Gyeongju and the Incheon Free Economic Zone for a first-hand opportunity to appreciate Korea’s past and present.
