Floor Guide

1st floor

1층
  • Special Exhibition Gallery : Presents exhibitions and programs of the dynamic and broad history, society, and culture of ASEAN member countries, as well as special exhibitions related to ASEAN-ROK diplomacy (ASEAN special exhibitions, special exhibitions in commemoration of diplomatic ties, multicultural exhibitions, etc.).
  • VR Zone : Visitors can see the UNESCO World Heritages in ASEAN member countries right before their eyes through the ACH Virtual Reality device created with cutting-edge digital technology. Experience the VR devices featuring the historic sites of Angkor Wat, Cambodia; Borobudur, Indonesia; and Bagan, Myanmar; as well as portable VR devices that present the cultural heritages of the ten ASEAN member states, created in celebration of the 2019 ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit.
  • Library : Visitors may check out books and multimedia materials of ASEAN countries, as well as general books of Korea and abroad. Other related programs are also available.
  • Nursing Room : Expectant mothers and visitors with infants may take a rest at the nursing room prepared with a comfortable couch and diaper changing tables.
  • Lockers : 80 lockers are available for visitors to store their items for a more convenient experience at the Culture House.
  • Community Hall : A rest area for visitors that connects from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, featuring video clips on ASEAN. It is also used as an auditorium for events such as talk concerts and festivals
  • Info Desk : Materials for visitors such as ACH information guide and activity sheets for children can be found from here. Visitors may also make inquiries on the use of ACH. Visitors who used the parking lot may claim a parking permit from here.

2nd floor

  • Permanent Exhibition Gallery : The ACH’s second permanent exhibition, ASEAN Storyteller: Spiritual Beliefs, Arts & Life, introduces ASEAN as a community that pursues “Unity in Diversity” through the three key concepts of “spiritual beliefs,” “arts,” and “life.” Beginning with a video panorama of the representative cultural heritage of the 10 ASEAN countries, ASEAN Storyteller is even more interesting when explored with the guidance of animated ASEAN delegation characters and mobile integration. Please take the opportunity to get closer to ASEAN by discovering the hidden stories contained in the exhibits using your smartphone.
  • Seminar Room 201 : This seminar room can accomodate up to 60 people, having the largest capacity among the three seminar rooms in the Culture House. Cultural and academic exchange programs, such as language and cultural courses are usually held in this room. It can also be rented at no cost for cultural and academic events in relation to ASEAN-ROK exchanges targeted at Koreans and foreigners residing in Korea.

3rd floor

  • Cooking Studio : Visitors can learn how to cook ASEAN food. This space is used for cooking programs, such as the ASEAN Cooking Class and Cooking Club.
  • Seminar Room 301 : This small seminar room that can accomodate up to 27 people is used for ASEAN language classes.

4th floor

4층
  • Auditorium : This space with 158 seats is equipped with professional sound and lighting system. Traditional and contemporary dances, musical performances, and a lot more colorful presentations of ASEAN member states can be viewed from this performance hall. Film festivals are also held, screening films of the respective countries.

Outdoors

  • Terrace : The 3rd and 4th floors of the Culture House have a small terrace where visitors can take a rest in the open air. The steps that connect the main gate on the ground floor with the basement are also decorated as a rest area.
  • Photo Zone : A photo zone is set up by the main gate of the Culture House, decorated with a Jeepney donated by the Embassy of the Philippines, as well as landmark figures of the ten ASEAN member states.

Basement 1

  • Parking : Parking spaces are available for visitors of ACH and Asella Coffee. 45 parking slots are available, consisted of 31 regular spaces, 7 larger parking spaces, 5 compact spaces, and 2 reserved spaces for people with disabilities.
  • Cafe : Snacks and beverages are available at this coffee shop for visitors of the Culture House.
